WASHINGTON - Serbian FM Marko Djuric, who is on a working visit to Washington, met with US Special Presidential Envoy for Global Partnerships Paolo Zampolli on Tuesday.
In an Instagram post, Djuric noted that a "productive discussion" with Zampolli had been an opportunity to highlight the role of Serbia as a "positive force for peace in Europe" and to present Serbia's views on issues of national importance, including the position of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.
"Conversations like this are always a great chance to share Serbia’s stance on major global issues, showcase our role as a positive force for peace in Europe, and make our perspectives heard and supported on matters of vital national interest, including the status of the Serb community in Kosovo-Metohija, which continues to be closely linked to regional stability," Djuric posted.
