Vucic meets with Guinea-Bissau's Embalo

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo in Belgrade on Thursday.

At a press conference with Embalo, Vucic said they had discussed significant matters, including preservation of territorial integrity.

He said they had agreed to increase the number of students from Guinea-Bissau who would be given Serbian scholarships.

"They will be our ambassadors, they will get to love Serbia and they will represent our interests in the best possible way," Vucic said.

He added they had also reached an agreement on cooperation in the fight against terrorism and said he believed it would be taken to a higher level.

"We also agreed cooperation in agriculture and the seed industry and, since he is chairman of ECOWAS, I asked him that the countries support our bid to host Expo. That is also a good opportunity and promotion of Serbia," Vucic said.
