Djuric discusses bilateral ties, regional situation with ambassadors of Russia, Belarus

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Marko Djuric met on Monday with the Russian and Belarusian Ambassadors to Belgrade, Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko and Sergei Malinovsky, to discuss bilateral relations, the regional situation and current geopolitical affairs.

Djuric and the ambassadors addressed the most significant aspects of Serbia's relations with Russia and Belarus, as well as the political and economic situation in the Western Balkan region, and also assessed the relevant global affairs in light of the current geopolitical situation, the Serbian MFA said in a statement.

Djuric thanked Russia and Belarus for their principled positions on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, as well as for their support in international organisations.

The parties highlighted the significance of maintaining continuous dialogue, as well as of continued cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
