Vucic congratulates Bulgaria's Radev on electoral win

BELGRADE - In a phone call on Sunday evening, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic congratulated former Bulgarian president Rumen Radev on his coalition's win in the Bulgarian early parliamentary polls earlier in the day.

"I congratulated Rumen Radev on the electoral success and victory in Bulgaria. I am confident the results will be an opportunity to strengthen stability and progress, as well as to advance cooperation between Serbia and Bulgaria in the spirit of good-neighbourly relations and shared interests. Serbia remains committed to building partnership relations and regional stability," Vucic posted on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.

With 91.6 pct of votes counted, Radev's Progressive Bulgaria electoral list is leading the election race with 44.7 pct of votes won.
