Vucic: Our policy must be one of peace, attempt to normalise relations

RASKA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday Serbia's policy must be one of peace and an attempt to normalise relations with ethnic Albanians even though they did not want that.

Vucic said this at a meeting with political representatives of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs in Raska, central Serbia, in response to Srpska lista leader Goran Rakic, who asked him to hear out the representatives before any decisions are made.

"Our policy must be one of maintaining peace. I know this is not popular with you, but our policy must also be an attempt to normalise relations with ethnic Albanians. I know they do not want that and that their only goal is for us to recognise them, after which they would expel us. That is their policy," Vucic said.
