Brnabic receives UAE ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with UAE Ambassador to Belgrade Ahmed Hatem Almenhali on Friday.

They discussed an upcoming visit to Serbia by the speaker of the UAE Federal National Council, Saqr Ghobash, and "the next steps concerning the organisation of his stay in Belgrade," an official statement said.

Brnabic said Ghobash's visit would lend an additional impetus to strengthening of friendly relations and parliamentary cooperation between Serbia and the UAE.

"She added that Serbia greatly values its relations with the United Arab Emirates, the personal friendship between the two presidents and the existing trust between the two countries," the statement also said.
