BELGRADE - State Secretary at the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nevena Jovanovic met with Singaporean Minister of Home Affairs K Shanmugam in Belgrade on Monday.
"During an open and constructive discussion, the officials recalled the longstanding tradition of friendly relations between the two countries, firmly rooted in the Non-Aligned Movement and the process of decolonisation," the MFA said in a statement.
"The interlocutors exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations and on opportunities for further enhancing cooperation between Serbia and Singapore in areas of mutual interest. They also agreed to maintain communication at the working level with a view to implementing joint projects.
The officials concurred that communication, cooperation, and mutual support among small and medium-sized states are particularly important in the current period marked by complex global challenges and crises," it also said.
