BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut met with Swiss Ambassador to Belgrade Anne Lugon-Moulin on Friday to discuss further strengthening of bilateral relations and implementation of joint development projects.

"The Prime Minister underlined that the Cooperation Programme between Serbia and the Swiss Confederation for the period 2026-2029 represents a new page in the relations between the two countries and a confirmation of a strong and years-long partnership," a government statement said.

"The interlocutors assessed that economic relations are highly developed and that Swiss companies doing business in Serbia are a good example of successful cooperation that brings concrete benefits to local communities and citizens.

Special attention was paid to opportunities for expanding cooperation in the fields of education, innovation and sustainable development, as well as the development and application of high technology in pharmacy.

The Prime Minister and the Ambassador expressed their confidence that the partnership between Serbia and Switzerland will continue to develop to mutual benefit, while strengthening economic, social and institutional ties between the two countries," it also said.
