Vucic, Braathu discuss minority rights, judiciary

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with the head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Jan Braathu in Belgrade on Wednesday to discuss Serbia's progress in protection of national minority rights and further strengthening of judicial independence.

"We discussed the important matters of Serbia's progress in the field of protection of national minority rights, further strengthening of judicial independence and all other important topics of vital interest to the Republic of Serbia," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile.

Vucic added that he was grateful to Braathu for supporting Serbia and noted that he considered him as "one of Serbia's few and sincere friends."
