Macut meets with Egyptian PM in Cairo

CAIRO - Serbian PM Djuro Macut, who is on a working visit to Egypt, met with Egyptian PM Mostafa Madbouly in Cairo on Monday, and announced the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Serbia (PKS) would open an office in the city by the end of this year.
The parties noted the significance of renewing air transport links and boosting the volume of bilateral trade between the two countries.
Madbouly said the two countries had maintained excellent ties since the era of the Non-Aligned Movement, and added that he wished them to remain so.
He also called for more active work on implementation of a FTA signed in 2024 and noted that participation in EXPO 2027 was a major opportunity for Egypt.
After the meeting with Madbouly, Macut visited the exhibition space of the Africa Health ExCon 2026 international conference.
