BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut held on Friday a video meeting with the Director of the European Commission’s Directorate for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood Geert Jan Koopman to review the results achieved in the implementation of a Reform Agenda and define the next steps in the process.
Macut noted that "the progress achieved since Koopman’s recent visit to Serbia was discussed in an open and constructive manner, as well as the activities that need to be implemented in the coming period in order to activate funds from the Western Balkans Growth Plan," a government statement said.
"The Prime Minister emphasised that Serbia remains committed to reforms that contribute to strengthening institutions, improving the rule of law and the country’s further economic development."
"I believe that, by working together, we will continue to achieve results that are in the interest of the citizens of Serbia," Macut was quoted as saying.
The meeting was also attended by officials of the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of European Integration, the Ministry of Mining and Energy and the General Secretariat of the Government of Serbia.
