Vucic: Historical alliance with US foundation for even better relations

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic attended on Thursday evening a reception hosted by the US embassy in Belgrade to mark US Independence Day.

Extending his congratulations to the American people and US President Donald Trump, Vucic wished them peace, success and prosperity.

"I believe that our historical alliance can be a good foundation for building even better relations in the future," Vucic posted on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile.

He noted that Serbia remained committed to peace, dialogue and cooperation with partners around the world.

"Serbia remains confident that open dialogue and mutual respect bring the best results to our citizens," Vucic posted.
