BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut held regular consultations on Tuesday with the ministers of foreign affairs, European integration, construction, transport and infrastructure, and economy, with particular attention devoted to accelerating the implementation of commitments from Serbia's Reform Agenda.
"Macut emphasised that accelerating European integration is one of the priorities and that all departments of the Serbian government are committed to this goal," a government statement said.
"During discussions with Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starovic, it was assessed that opening of Cluster 3, for which, as emphasised, Serbia has long been fully prepared, would be of great importance for the country’s European path.
The Prime Minister also discussed with Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric the further process of Serbia’s European integration and the need for all resources in the country to be dedicated to this goal.
He discussed with Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijevic the implementation of capital infrastructure projects, which, as he noted, is very important for GDP growth.
Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic announced a new support package for small businesses, and Prime Minister Macut assessed that state support is essential for the further development of this sector and for improving the business environment in Serbia," it also said.
