Serbia to host OSCE PA annual meeting in 2027

VIENNA - OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) President Joan Pons Sampietro has informed Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic in writing that the OSCE PA had accepted an initiative by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to host its annual meeting in Belgrade in 2027.

In a letter to Brnabic, seen by Tanjug, Sampietro expressed his sincere gratitude for the Serbian parliament's initiative to host the meeting, as well as for exceptional flexibility demonstrated by a Serbian delegation in adjusting arrangements for the important event.

He added that the fact Serbia was now in a position to host the annual meeting in 2027 was a great honour for the OSCE PA.
