WASHINGTON - Serbian FM Marko Djuric, who on Thursday attended a Washington ministerial conference at the invitation of US State Secretary Marco Rubio, held a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit.
In an Instagram post, Djuric wrote that he had spoken with Israeli counterpart Gideon Sa'ar about the exceptional relations between Serbia and Israel and the significance of coordinated international efforts to confront extremism and preserve stability through dialogue.
The Serbian minister added that he had had an excellent discussion with Georgian FM Maka Bochorishvili and Jamaican FM Kamina Johnson Smith.
During the discussion with Johnson Smith, Djuric said joint work on tackling growing security threats remained high on the agenda.
The ministerial conference on the fight against political terrorism brought together ministers and senior officials of more than 60 states.
