Macut welcomes Babis in Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Djuro Macut on Thursday welcomed Czech PM Andrej Babis at a ceremony outside the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade.
Babis, who is on a two-day visit to Belgrade, was welcomed with the highest state honours that included a red carpet, a guard of honour and the playing of the national anthems of the two countries.
Babis was also welcomed by First Deputy PM and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali, Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Andrijana Mesarovic and Minister of Internal and External Trade Jagoda Lazarevic.
The ceremony was followed by a tete-a-tete meeting between Macut and Babis and a plenary meeting of Serbian and Czech delegations headed by the two PMs.
Babis will also have a tete-a-tete meeting with Serbian President Vucic, to be followed by a plenary meeting of the two delegations, chaired by Vucic and Babis.
Vucic and Babis will hold a press conference after the plenary meeting.
