BELGRADE - The Serbian government has decided to name Ljiljana Jevtovic Serbia's deputy chief negotiator in the EU accession talks, according to the latest issue of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.

Jevtovic, who currently serves as first counsellor at the Serbian Mission to the EU, as well as an official of the Ministry of European Integration, has been appointed deputy chief negotiator pursuant to a decision signed by PM Djuro Macut on July 23.

In March this year, the government appointed Serbia's Ambassador to the EU Danijel Apostolovic as chief negotiator in the accession talks.
