Srpska lista calls on Kfor, Eulex to step up presence in Kosovska Mitrovica

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Srpska lista on Monday reiterated a call to Kfor and Eulex to step up their presence in the north of Kosovo-Metohija, especially in Kosovska Mitrovica, to prevent feigned incidents Pristina was using as an alibi for increased presence of special forces of the so-called Kosovo Police.

In a statement, Srpska lista condemned last night's incident in which unknown perpetrators threw what was most likely a stun grenade in the vicinity of the Tri solitera neighbourhood in the north of Kosovska Mitrovica, which unsettled Serb residents.

"We are convinced this was done purposefully to justify increased presence of special forces armed to the teeth and armoured vehicles that were in the streets of Kosovska Mitrovica last night, intimidating our citizens," the statement said.
