Dacic meets with Palestinian FM

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met on Monday evening at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport with Palestinian FM Riyad al-Maliki, who was on a stopover in Serbia.

The ministers agreed that bilateral ties between their countries were good and that Serbia and Palestine maintained a traditional friendship, and noted that mutual support in international fori and organisations also contributed to such relations, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

They expressed a desire to maintain continued political dialogue, above all, through regular exchanges of visits at high level.

Dacic thanked Palestine for its principled position of non-recognition of the so-called Kosovo.
