GRANADA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Granada on Thursday evening.
The meeting at the Washington Irving hotel in Alhambra lasted for nearly an hour.
"At the end of a long day, an open and substantial discussion with French President Emmanuel Macron on all important issues. I thanked President Macron for his readiness to hear Belgrade's positions, as well as for his personal engagement in the Western Balkan region," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile.
Earlier in the day, Vucic also met other foreign officials in Granada and held bilateral meetings with many of them to discuss the situation in the region and Kosovo-Metohija.
Macron received the president of the so-called Kosovo Vjosa Osmani in premises a Pristina-based journalist described as "inappropriate for receiving high-ranking officials."
The journalist said the move was a sign of disrespect to Osmani.
In a post on the social media network X, formerly known as Twitter, Osmani said the meeting with Macron had addressed recent security developments in Kosovo-Metohija.
