Kosovo Serbs block road in protest against shooting of Serb youths

STRPCE- Kosovo Serbs blocked a regional road between Strpce and Urosevac on Friday in protest against a drive-by shooting and wounding of two Serb youths earlier in the day, Tanjug's correspondent on the ground reports.

In a statement, the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija said the attack had been unprovoked and that the youths - who are males and relatives aged 11 and 21 - were walking by the side of the road and carrying Yule logs at the time the attacker, who is a local ethnic Albanian, shot bursts of fire at them.

Meanwhile, Pristina's police has said it had arrested a 33-year-old man suspected in the shooting.
