BELGRADE - Speaking about pressure on Serbia and Republika Srpska, former Security Information Agency chief Aleksandar Vulin said on Wednesday Western powers planned to pass a genocide resolution against Serbia and the Serbs in the UN General Assembly.

"They will try to pass a resolution branding Serbia and the Serbs as genocidal, and they will try to arrest (Republika Srpska President) Milorad Dodik and terminate payment transactions in Republika Srpska, and arrest people for not respecting (international High Representative Christian) Schmidt's decisions," Vulin said on Pink TV.

He said a genocide resolution the presidents of Serbia and Russia, Aleksandar Vucic and Vladimir Putin, had thwarted in 2015 was due to be passed in the UNGA on April 27.

"The idea is to pass that resolution on April 27 and, of course, declare us a genocidal people, and declare July 11, the date when the Srebrenica incident happened, as international genocide day. The sponsors of that resolution are Rwanda and Germany," Vulin said.

He said the affair was a "wider story" and that Germany was speaking on behalf of the EU and that the resolution was backed by the US on behalf of NATO, as well as by "Islamic countries."

He said Serbia had received threats from the US a few days ago over its recent acquisition of a powerful Russian anti-UAV system that had been downing Turkish-made Bayraktar UAVs in Ukraine, and added that Turkey had supplied such UAVs to the so-called Kosovo.

Speaking about Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vulin said Schmidt had begun using the so-called "Bonn powers" to impose amendments to the country's electoral law.

"What will follow is further use of the Bonn powers - he will start prosecuting all those who do not respect his decisions, make up stories about the Dayton Agreement being destroyed and, of course, intertwine into all that false accusations of corruption before courts where Americans are prosecutors as well as judges. With the US and the UK, he will be working to completely dismantle Republika Srpska," Vulin said.

He also said some of the people around Vucic were not working for Serbia but for the CIA and against the president, and added that any further steps were up to Vucic.
