Djuric meets with US Congressman Keating

WASHINGTON - Serbian FM Marko Djuric met with US Congressman William Keating in Washington on Wednesday to discuss important geopolitical topics.

Djuric informed Keating, a member of the US House of Representatives' Foreign Affairs Committee and Armed Services Committee, of Serbia's positions in the context of contemporary international political and security challenges, the Serbian MFA said in a statement.

He added that Serbia was a constructive and dependable international factor and that it would continue to work consistently on building peace and stability in the Western Balkans and was open to cooperation with the US.

"One of Serbia's foreign policy priorities will be to also continue to build stable and productive relations with the US, and we have special expectations from cooperation in areas such as information and communication technologies and energy," Djuric said.
