Obrenovac mayor arrested

BELGRADE - The mayor of Belgrade's Obrenovac municipality, Milorad Grcic, was arrested in the Serbian capital on Wednesday on orders from the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, sources confirmed to Tanjug.

Grcic was arrested on suspicion of causing financial damage to the national power company EPS while serving as its acting director.

About ten other people were also arrested in a police operation.
