Vucic: We will introduce measures that will substantially change our society

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Sunday evening that Serbia would introduce severe measures that would substantially change its society in the wake of the massacres in Belgrade and Mladenovac.

"Our duty is to come out of this big tragedy united and to try to solve some problems in a different way," Vucic said in an appearance on the RTS.

He added that the role of the state leadership was to act rationally.

"While never forgetting the horrible tragedies and the victims and while celebrating those angelic children and the people the criminals killed, we need to continue to think about how not to let those things ever happen again," Vucic noted.
