Lajovic loses to Mensik in Brisbane round of 16

BRISBANE - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic has failed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Brisbane ATP tournament after losing to Czech Jakub Mensik 6-3, 6-2 in the round of 16 on Thursday morning.

World number 48 Mensik won after 66 minutes of play.

Mensik is now 3-0 head-to-head against Lajovic, who ranks 81st in the ATP rankings.

The prize money in Brisbane is 766,290 US dollars.
