Serbia draw 1-1 with Austria away in UEFA Nations League playoffs

VIENNA - The Serbia men's national football team drew 1-1 with Austria away in the first leg of the two sides' UEFA Nations League A/B playoff tie on Thursday evening.

In front of 46,000 spectators at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna, Austria took the lead through Michael Gregoritsch in the 37th minute, while Lazar Samardzic equalised with an exquisite long-range goal in the 61st minute.

The second leg will be played at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade on Sunday.
