Red Star, Vojvodina through to Serbian football cup final

BELGRADE - Red Star Belgrade and Vojvodina Novi Sad are through to the final of the Serbian football cup.

In the semi-finals, Red Star defeated Napredak Krusevac 4-2 at home on Wednesday evening.

Bruno Duarte (3, 45 min), Timi Max Elsnik (49 min) and Luka Ilic (64 min) provided the goals for the hosts, while Stefan Bukorac (6 min) and Mateja Bubanj (37 min pen) scored for Napredak.

Earlier, Vojvodina beat TSC Backa Topola 2-0 at home.

Seid Korac opened the scoring in the 10th minute and Stefan Bukinac made it 2-0 in the 85th minute.

The May 22 cup final game at the Kraljevica Stadium in Zajecar, eastern Serbia, will be a repeat of last season's final, which Red Star won 2-1.
