Djokovic beats Arnaldi to advance to Geneva semi-finals

GENEVA - Serbia's top-ranked male tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the semi-finals of the Geneva ATP tournament after a 6-4, 6-4 quarter-final victory over Italian Matteo Arnaldi on Thursday evening.

Djokovic, who won after an hour and 39 minutes of play, is now 1-1 head-to-head against Arnaldi, who defeated him in Madrid a month ago.

In the semi-finals, Djokovic will face Briton Cameron Norrie on Friday.

The prize money in Geneva is 596,035 euros.
