Djokovic beats Griekspoor to advance to Dubai quarters

DUBAI - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the quarter-finals of the Dubai ATP tournament after defeating Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor 6-2, 6-3 on Wednesday.

Djokovic, who won after 82 minutes of play, now has a 2-0 head-to-head record against Griekspoor.

Djokovic will next face the winner of the tie between Hubart Hurkacz of Poland and Pavel Kotov of Russia on Thursday.

The prize money in Dubai is 2,855,495 dollars.
