Partizan beat FMP to advance to Serbian basketball league finals

BELGRADE - Partizan Belgrade defeated FMP Zeleznik 90-80 in the decisive Game 3 of the playoff semi-finals of the Serbian basketball Superliga on Thursday evening, winning the series 2-1.

In the finals - their first in 14 years - Partizan will play Spartak Subotica.

Balsa Koprivica led Partizan to victory with 26 points and 10 rebounds, Isiaha Mike had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Uros Mijailovic and Mitar Bosnjakovic added 15 and 10 points, respectively.

Bojan Tomasevic stood out for FMP with 17 points, Filip Barna followed with 15 and Joshua Scott added 14.

The best-of-three final series between Partizan and Spartak begins on Sunday.
