Serbia outclass US at water polo world championship

SINGAPORE - The Serbia men's national water polo team defeated the US 14-9 in the quarter-finals of the FINA World Aquatic Championships in Singapore on Sunday.

Strahinja Rasovic, Nikola Jaksic, Nemanja Vico and Milos Cuk each scored a brace for Serbia, while Dusan Mandic, Sava Randjelovic, Nikola Murisic, Boris Vapenski, Viktor Rasovic and Vasilije Martinovic added one goal each.

In Tuesday's semi-finals, Serbia will face Hungary, who defeated Croatia 18-12 in the quarter-finals.

The other semi-final tie is Spain vs Greece.
