Representatives of Serbian national basketball, football teams meet in Riga

RIGA - Delegations of the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS) and the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) met in Riga on Friday, wishing each other luck in Saturday's games in the Latvian capital.

The Serbia football team will face Latvia in the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers on Saturday afternoon, while the national basketball team will play Finland at EuroBasket 2025 in the evening.

KSS President Nebojsa Covic and the basketball team's head coach Svetislav Pesic, KSS Vice President Filip Sunturlic and team manager Nebojsa Ilic welcomed the football team's head coach Dragan Stojkovic and team director Stevan Stojanovic.

Pesic and Stojkovic exchanged team shirts and Covic presented to Stojkovic a KSS publication commemorating a century of basketball in Serbia, titled A Hundred Stories For A Hundred Years.
