Serbians Lajovic, Djere through to Srpska Open second round

BANJALUKA - Serbian tennis players Dusan Lajovic and Laslo Djere are through to the second round of the men's singles event at the Srpska Open tournament in Banjaluka.

Lajovic defeated compatriot Filip Krajinovic 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 in the first round after two hours and 20 minutes of play.

The match was finished on Tuesday after being interrupted by a rain delay on Monday.

Lajovic will next play the winner of the tie between Serbia's Hamad Medjedovic and Frenchman Gregoire Barrere.

Djere beat Russian Roman Safiullin 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the second round and set up a clash with Croat Borna Coric.
