Vojvodina lose, Partizan win in UEFA Conference League qualifiers first-leg matches

NOVI SAD/BELGRADE - Serbia's Vojvodina Novi Sad lost 4-1 at home to Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam and Partizan Belgrade beat Luxembourgish side UNA Strassen 4-0 at home in Thursday's first-leg matches of the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round.

At Novi Sad's Karadjordje Stadium, Davy Klaassen (3 min), Stephen Berghuis (37 min), Oscar Gloukh (52 min) and Mohamed Abdalla (90+3 min) scored for Ajax, while Petar Sokacev netted the only goal for Vojvodina in the 28th minute.

In Belgrade, Erik Kojzek (3 min), Ibrahim Zubairu (29, 68 min) and captain Ognjen Ugresic (80 min) provided the goals for Partizan against UNA Strassen.

The visitors were a man down from the 51st minute, when Edis Agovic picked up a straight red card for a foul on Partizan's Demba Seck.
