NYON - If they knock out Israeli side Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, Serbian football champions Red Star Belgrade will play the winner of the tie between Danish club Aarhus and Azerbaijan's Sabah in the competition's playoff qualifying round, a draw in Nyon, Switzerland, decided on Monday.
Red Star or Hapoel will host the first leg of the play-off tie on August 18 or 19, with the second leg scheduled for August 25 or 26.
In the away leg of the third qualifying round, the Belgrade Red-and-Whites will take on the Israeli outfit in Szombathely, Hungary, on Tuesday evening, with the return leg to be played in Belgrade on August 11.
Red Star were also drawn to play Czech side Viktoria Plzen in the UEFA Europa League playoff round if they lose the tie against Hapoel.
