Serbia successfully defend 3x3 basketball world cup title

VIENNA - The Serbia men's national 3x3 basketball team has successfully defended its World Cup title by beating the United States 21-19 in this year's World Cup final in Vienna on Sunday.

Supported by a large crowd of Serbian fans, Dejan Majstorovic, Marko Brankovic, Mihailo Vasic and Strahinja Stojacic overcame a 19-15 deficit to win the sixth World Cup gold for Serbia.

Latvia won the bronze by beating Brazil 22-12.

All World Cup medal winners secured berths in the qualifications for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
