Serbia lose to Austria in football friendly

VIENNA - The Serbia men's national football team lost 2-1 to Austria in Vienna on Tuesday evening in a football friendly ahead of EURO 2024.

Austria took the lead through a Patrick Wimmer goal in the 10th minute, Christoph Baumgartner scored the second goal for the hosts three minutes later and Serbia's Strahinja Pavlovic headed home to make it 2-1 in the 35th minute after an Uros Spajic header hit the goalpost.

In their last friendly match before EURO 2024 in Germany, Serbia face Sweden in Stockholm on Saturday.
