Djuric requests measures to stabilise situation in Kosovo-Metohija

The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija, Marko Djuric, held an urgent meeting with senior Eulex officials in Belgrade on Wednesday over increasingly frequent attacks on Serbs and open threats of violence from extremist political and religious circles in the province.

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija, Marko Djuric, held an urgent meeting with senior Eulex officials in Belgrade on Wednesday over increasingly frequent attacks on Serbs and open threats of violence from extremist political and religious circles in the province.

Djuric requested concrete, resolute measures to avert threats to the security of people and their property and prevent further deterioration of the security situation in Kosovo-Metohija, the Office said.
