World Bank increases 2018 growth projection for Serbia

The World Bank has revised upwards by 0.5 pct its 2018 growth projection for Serbia to 3.5 pct, reducing its global growth projection by 0.1 pct to 3.0 pct, according to its latest report, titled Global Economic Prospects.

WASHINGTON - The World Bank has revised upwards by 0.5 pct its 2018 growth projection for Serbia to 3.5 pct, reducing its global growth projection by 0.1 pct to 3.0 pct, according to its latest report, titled Global Economic Prospects.


Compared to its June report, it retained its 2019 projection of 3.5 pct growth for Serbia, as well as the 2020 and 2021 projections of 4.0 pct.


At the same time, the report revises downwards the global growth forecasts for 2019 and 2020 by 0.1 pct to 2.9 pct and 2.8 pct, respectively.
