BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic on Wednesday said her government's objective was an economy based on knowledge, creativity and innovation and that numerous tax facilities and incentives for startups and innovation companies, as well as for investment in research, science and education, had been introduced as a result.

At the opening of a three-day Coworking & Coliving Conference Southeast Europe, Brnabic said Serbia was changing rapidly in order to make use of the 4th Industrial Revolution, make up for lost ground and catch up with more developed societies - and perhaps surpass them.

The conference, which deals with coliving and coworking spaces - where "digital nomads" work and create together - is attended by a large number of young people from the region and around the world.

Brnabic said the primary focus of her government were reforms aimed at education, culture, the creative industries, innovation, development, startups, science and research.
