Saudi market open to Serbian companies

BELGRADE - Saudi Arabia is a major investment and trade destination offering serious business opportunities to Serbian companies, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS) President Marko Cadez and Saudi Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Osamah Dakhel Al Ahmadi said at a meeting on Tuesday.

In a statement, the PKS said cooperation was possible in the agriculture and food industry sector, the IT sector as well as in joint infrastructure projects, tourism and health care.

The PKS said it would define with Saudi partners areas offering space for further advancement of economic cooperation.

It also said there were plans for Serbian companies to attend the Saudi Food Show 2023, to be held in Riyadh in June.

Serbia has comparative advantages in the Saudi market, which has started investing in renewable energy, agriculture and tourism, the PKS also said.
