Vucic: Direct flights to Toronto to be launched in March

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Sunday evening the national airline, Air Serbia, would start flying to Toronto in March.

"Starting from March, we will be flying to Toronto. We just need to sort out a few more details with the Canadian authorities. Do you know what kind of news this is for our expats, for people who are from here? We, a small country such as Serbia, will have direct flights to Toronto," Vucic said on Pink TV.

"After Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, New York, Chicago, we will also have a flight to Toronto," he noted.

"Countries that are much, much larger than us do not have that," Vucic added.
