Djedovic Handanovic: First euro diesel produced by Pancevo refinery on sale at petrol stations

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic said on Tuesday the first new quantities of euro diesel produced following a resumption of crude processing at the Pancevo oil refinery were now on sale at petrol stations across Serbia.

"As we have promised, the first quantities of euro diesel produced at the Pancevo refinery following the resumption of production are on sale at petrol stations across Serbia starting from today!" Djedovic Handanovic posted on Instagram.

She added that she was proud that, for nearly 100 days, the citizens had not felt the consequences of US sanctions on the Serbian oil company NIS and that fuel supply had never been disrupted thanks to hard work by her colleagues in the government and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

NIS is under US sanctions due to its Russian majority ownership.
