Cambodia confirms its participation in EXPO 2027

BELGRADE - The Kingdom of Cambodia is one of the 137 countries that have confirmed their participation in the specialised EXPO 2027 Belgrade, the EXPO 2027 enterprise announced on Tuesday.

Cambodia will present itself as a country successfully connecting a thousand-year tradition, cultural diversity, accelerated economic development and a sustainable future, offering visitors an authentic experience of one of the world's most intriguing civilisations, an official statement said.

Over the course of the 93 days of the EXPO, visitors will have an opportunity to discover Cambodia through its exceptionally rich cultural heritage, it said.

EXPO 2027 Belgrade will be held from May 15 through August 15, 2027 under the theme of Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.

"Cambodia and Serbia have traditionally good relations and EXPO 2027 will be an opportunity to strengthen them further in the cultural and business domains, as well as in the domain of modern technologies. I believe visitors of next year's EXPO will have an opportunity to get to know Cambodia through its unique story of a civilisation that has for centuries been connecting tradition, art and spirituality with modern development," EXPO 2027 Director Danilo Jerinic said.
