BELGRADE - Telekom Srbija CEO Vladimir Lucic said on Thursday roaming charges between Serbia and the EU were due to be abolished by the end of this year or in Q1 2027.
Speaking to K1 TV about talks with the EU on including the Western Balkans in the Roam Like at Home regime, Lucic said Serbia would pass all the required legislation by September.
Commenting on Telekom Srbija's financial performance last year, Lucic said the company had registered profits of 1.3 bln euros and gained more than 300,000 new subscribers.
"Hardly any telecommunications operator can compare to Telekom Srbija in terms of trends, quality and the method of corporate growth," he noted.
