BELGRADE - Serbia's external goods trade between January and April totalled 21.94 bln euros, rising by 3.3 pct y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office RZS.
Exports rose by 13.1 pct y-o-y to 9.6577 bln euros, while imports fell by 3.3 pct y-o-y to 12.287 bln euros, and the resulting 2.6293 bln euro deficit was down by 36.9 pct y-o-y.
The export-import ratio was 78.6 pct, up from 67.2 pct in the same period of 2022.
The Vojvodina region accounted for most of Serbia's exports (32.5 pct), while the Belgrade region had the largest share of the imports (41.7 pct).
External goods trade was the highest with countries with which Serbia has free trade agreements, and EU member states accounted for 59.7 pct of the total, the RZS said.
