VALJEVO - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic opened the third Hisense Europe plant in Valjevo on Wednesday, noting that the investment would create 1,020 jobs over the next three years.
"Hisense currently employs slightly under 1,800 workers, which means that, when we take into account all other Hisense Group operations in Serbia, manufacturing workforce alone will reach about 3,000 over the next three years," Brnabic said.
"I am endlessly grateful to Hisense Group as, in that way, they show enormous respect to and trust in Serbia and, above all, our people, their quality, knowledge, their diligence and discipline, their potential to create a common added value that we will be exporting from here in Valjevo to all of Europe and worldwide," Brnabic noted.
