Vesic receives top Spanish architect, ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic received Inaqui Carnicero, Secretary General of Urban Agenda, Housing and Architecture at Spain's Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, and Spanish Ambassador to Belgrade Juan Jose Sanz Aparicio.

Carnicero is the main guest at Serbia's first National Architecture Forum, held in Belgrade on Tuesday.

The parties discussed experience-sharing between Serbia and Spain, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure said in a statement.

Carnicero is the key author of Spain's architecture quality law and Serbia is due to adopt similar legislation in the near future.

Under a national architecture strategy proposed by the ministry, Serbia will open a House of Architecture, similarly to Spain.
