BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic received a farewell visit from Danish Ambassador to Belgrade Susanne Shine on Monday, thanking Denmark for its continuous support for Serbia in the negotiating process for EU membership, which he noted was Serbia's strategic commitment and foreign policy priority.
"I wished Ambassador Shine much luck and success in her future work and thanked her for her active engagement and the success of her diplomatic mission in Belgrade, which have advanced further the bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Denmark," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.
He added that they had discussed Serbia's good economic indicators and conditions for doing business in the country, which he said had helped attract more interest from Danish companies in investing in Serbia, making a major impact on development of entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic.
"I noted that Denmark is one of our country's most important Scandinavian partners as well as that we are committed to continue to strengthen our mutual cooperation and step up political dialogue further at all levels," Vucic added.
